About Us
Writing is an integral part of the academic culture. The need to deliver quality research and writings has made it prominent for academia to continuously foster good academic writing practices, especially here at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), in which quality research is set at the forefront. Therefore, to meet this need the Writing Center is established.
The Writing Center at UPT Pengembangan SDM ITB offers free one-on-one academic writing consultation to all lecturers and staffs of ITB. To book your appointment please read the booking guideline below carefully.

Open hours : Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 09.00 AM-15.00 PM
Tuesday & Friday 09.00 AM-12.00 PM

To book your online consultation session, click here. Schedule your appointment and fill in the form to register yourself. We will send you the Microsoft Teams meeting invitation link 1 day before the consultation day.
our policy
Clients may book one appointment which consists of a 55-minute consultation session per day and a maximum of two bookings per week. Please book your appointment at the latest 2 days before the consultation day.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Writing Center is pleased to accommodate your work remotely via Microsoft Teams meeting. Please have the Microsoft Teams application installed on your device (it can be installed on Windows, all Apple devices, and Linux) and/or download it click here for clients to participate in a session with the writing consultant.
Important:
- Please make sure your headset and microphone are ready before the consultation begins.
- Please prepare your document before the appointment.
- Consultants do not serve as proofreaders or translators. Consultants give clients suggestions on several elements of the client’s writing to polish their work.
